Top 21 artists will launch the song titled “Fly United”

Top 21 artists will launch the song titled “Fly United”, where part of income which are sold through the ring back tone (RBT) will be donated to education for disadvantaged communities. This song will be launched at a press conference and launch of “Miss Unity”, in Hotel Nikko, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 14:00 pm later.

Dozens of artists that include Sam Milby, ST12, Purple, Changcuters, Rio Febrian, Kangen Band, Sherina, Nidji, d’masiv, Vierra, Grid, Geisha, Alexa and Azura.

This song will be dedicated to national unity of Indonesia. “The song is for the longing for peaceful Indonesia. I created this song because my little experience, will miss the peace that yet,” said Charlie says, ST12 vocalist who is also the author of the song Fly United.

Charlie states, this song was inspired by the current situation that tends to see the hot-hot and war. “It contains a love song to unite,” says Charlie.

The song was produced by the collaboration of the four major labels Warner Music Indonesia, Musica Studios, Sony Music, and Trinity Optima Production. For video clips directed by Rizal Matovani.

“This new history of national music. For the first time a song is sung by 12 leading artists as well and is produced jointly by four record companies,” said Gumilang Ramadan, Director of the Musica Studio.

The launch of the songs and RBT “Fly United” is part of the program “Indonesia Bersatu” a long term program aimed to explore and cultivate a spirit of unity, nationalism, anti-violence, creativity, and achievement among young people of Indonesia.
