This discussion begins with the question, what sort of Grunge? Grunge sense of the word itself has me looking in the dictionary English, French and German, each of which he says is the most complete dictionary, but there is no explanation of the word. Even in the dictionary language “slang” published by the U.S. there are only two words are similar to Grunge. Namely Grungt which means sick and Grung which means somber. Meanwhile, one respondent there was discussion to add one more word like that is Grunchy which means vulgar. (Meaning of the word grunge itself may exist among you who know better? I plead with you very, very to exchange information).

Grunge music began in the early turnout trend ‘80an although there has been a grunge band that plays music that has appeared in ‘60an the Crosby, Still, Nash and Young (Literature: World Music history, Scholastic). Then you curious Grunge actual lifestyle? Bener you curious? Hurt you ready? Okay if you’re ready to hurt. Grunge lifestyle really is Rubbish! .. It’s True!. That the original grunge lifestyle of nature to it is a lifestyle that is closely related to garbage.we apply in everyday life.
That is why the musicians Grunge music bearers firmly rejected if they dubbed Grunge musicians! They include:
Sound Garden and Alice in Chains. They are more proud of is called the Hard Rock musicians (ever see them in the Hardrock album compilations # 1).
Silverchair and Pearl Jam is more proud of being called a musician Alternative / Modern Rock. This is evident from the opinion of John Daniel (Silverchair), who said he really liked Grunge music but refused vehemently if called Grunge musicians. He refused because they have facilities, they lecture, live well and drive everywhere.
And that is probably the most painful sorry guys … Sad But True! Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, also refused to be called grunge musicians. Cobain himself called Punkers happier, because they are more able to think and explore masihng own soul, not only because the song was good and then they dance in a variety of terms (pogo, moshing, ect ..) but do not know what they want delivered from the song . Cobain hated act Grunge kids that are so apathetic and selfish (remember lyric In Bloom? Lets check the Lyric!). You’ve never seen a t-shirt “Grunge Is Dead”? kepengen if all I could see copykan. Cobain formed Nirvana itself is actually Pingin Punk bands (do you remember?). It is proved that the opinion of Chris Novoselic who explained that Cobain of Nirvana actually wanted to be a nuanced punk bands like the Sex Pistols but because he cometh to Nirvana’s lack of reference to be a punk band that weird! (Oh.. Well)
